ATLAS AND THE MOON The male profile and torso are barely outlined with bold strokes, the contours of the moon and the restrained color scheme make this painting a bit mystical. The images came to me in the process of intuitive creativity. The process of creating artwork was splashing emotions on the surface of the canvas. The resulting picture contains references to ancient mythology. I see the features of the ancient Greek Atlas in the portrait. I tried to rework the legend about him and express it in visual images.
